Manjaro Linux 16.10 Fringilla Released

In a previous post we announced the updates of the rolling distribution Manjaro Linux, but as it seems the update, upgrades the system in to the edition Manjaro Linux 16.10 Fringilla. The edition of Xfce remains the default desktop administrator and according to the post announcement of Manjaro Linux 16.10 not a few can claim to offer such an integrated and innovative experience Xfce.   So, the new distribution comes with Xfce 4.

Manjaro Linux: Update brings Linux Kernel 4.5.8-2

Manjaro Linux operating system updated yesterday, and the update was just announced. For those that don’t know about this OS, the Manjaro distribution is based on Arch Linux and it’s goal is to make things easier for the non-experienced Linux user. The Manjaro installation is simple and it can be done with 2 different ways, one via GUI and one via terminal.     In general Manjaro linux is good for your attention, and it brings a lot of promises for the future.

Manjaro Linux Deepin 15.12 released

Bernhard Landauer announced end of last year the first stable release of Manjaro Deepin. Manjaro Linux 15.12-rc2 released with updates to Plasma 5.5 and dropping Plasma 4

Philip Müller, Manjaro Development Team recently announced the second release candidate of Manjaro Linux 15.12-rc2 (Capella). This is one of the biggest updates we did so far. Mostly due the C++ 11 ABI change within gcc. With this update, Plasma 4 is been dropped for good. All users of this desktop should either switch over to Plasma 5 or any other maintained desktop, like LXQt. Manjaro Linux 15.12-rc2 update: Now have Plasma 5.

Manjaro Drops KDE 4 for good, Switches to Plasma 5.5

The developers of the Manjaro Linux operating system recently announced the general availability of Manjaro 15.12 (Capella) Update 2015-12-13, which is in testing phase. A notable update in this release is that Manjaro will drop support for KDE 4 for good and switch over to Plasma 5.5. According to Philip Müller: This is one of the biggest updates we did so far. Mostly due the C++ 11 ABI change within gcc.

Manjaro Linux 15.12-rc1 released with Steam-Native and running Kernel 4.4-rc4

Philip Müller, Manjaro Development Team recently announced the first release candidate of Manjaro Linux 15.12-rc1 (Capella). Manjaro Enlightenment 15.11 released

The Manjaro community recently announced the long awaited installation media for Manjaro Enlightenment 15.11 Edition. This release keeps to the style of the 15.11 release being that it is highly vanilla, but of course is up-to-date at the time of build and includes the latest Manjaro back-end infrastructure. Note, this means a very vanilla E19 configuration with minimal app set provided out-of-the-box so you can style Enlightenment on your own. Manjaro as we know is a user-friendly Linux distribution based on the independently developed Arch operating system.
