BitTorrent has come under fire recently from its users after it emerged the company’s latest uTorrent build 38913 update apparently installed a Bitcoin mining software. This issue was picked up when a forum member “Groundrunner” in the uTorrent community forum noticed increased CPU loads, even while his computer was idle.
