Ardour 5.0 recently released, is an open source digital audio multi track recording application. Ardour 5.0 is now available for Linux, OS X and now supports Windows Platform. This is a major release focused on substantial changes to the GUI and major new features related to mixing, plugin use, tempo maps, scripting and more. There are also hundreds of bug fixes. Ardour 5.0 can be parallel-installed with older versions of the program, and does not use the same preference files.
