FileZilla Client 3.17.0 released

FileZilla Client 3.17.0 recently released, is an open source, cross-platform graphical FTP (port 21), SFTP (port 22), and FTPS (FTP over SSL/TLS – Port 990) client with lots of features and an intuitive graphical user interface. Among others, the features of FileZilla includes Supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Cross-platform. Chnagelog since v3.17.0-rc1: New features: Recursivly queing local files for upload now displays the progress below the local file list MSW: Use dynamic TCP send buffer sizes to improve upload speeds on high-latency connections SFTP: Use hardware-accelerated AES on x86_64 CPUs if available by using the AES implementation from Nettle instead of PuTTY Building FileZilla now depends on the Nettle library, version 3.

Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS released

Martin Wimpress recently announced the release of Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS which has been in development for nearly 2 years. This latest release features the latest MATE desktop environment, and support for Ubuntu Snappy command-line package manager.  Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS Update: Added ubuntu-snappy-cli to the default install. Firefox 45.0.2 released with fix to video playback crash

Mozilla Firefox 45.0.2 was recently released by Mozilla team. This latest release is purely in relation to some important bug fixes, which Mozilla have deemed necessary to bring the browser to a new client version which requires a physical update. These include a fix for Firefox crashing in relation to video playback with Media Source Extension and also a fix an issue impacting the cookie header, when third-party cookies are blocked.

Opera 38 Browser Integrates Free VPN for better online privacy
