Tor Browser 5.5.1 is released

Tor Browser 5.5.1 recently released, comes with new supported features and bugfix. Most notably, this release features fixes for regressions caused by our font fingerprinting defense: chinese users should have a functional Tor Browser again and emoji support is restored on OS X and Linux systems (A fix for the Windows platform is currently underway).

In addition to this, an oversight in one of the patches which broke some websites depending heavily on iframes was also fixed.

For those who may not know, Tor Browser is a network of servers that allows people to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. Tor Browser encrypts everything everything in the Tor network. Via the HTTPS-Everywhere extension, it also encrypts the traffic between the Tor network and the final destination.
