Yii 2.0.6 PHP Framework released

Version 2.0.6 is a patch release of Yii 2.0 which contains over 70 minor new features and bug fixes as well as numerous improvements to documentation and great progress on guide translations.

  • Fixed display issue with overlapping call stack item on exception display page
  • Logging of Exception objects resulted in failure of the logger i.e. no logs being written
  • Use proper INSERT syntax with default values when no values are specified
  • Client-side trim validator now passes the trimmed value to subsequent validators
  • \yii\helpers\ArrayHelper::toArray() wasn’t passing $recursive to Arrayable::toArray
  • Fixed active form data-method submit bug when client validation is used
  • yii\behaviors\TimestampBehavior::touch() now throws an exception if owner is new record
  • yii\i18n\Formatter did not allow negative unix timestamps as input for date formatting
  • Sequence name in Schema::getLastInsertId() was not properly quoted
  • Cleaning of output buffer in Widget::run() conflicts with Pjax widget which did the cleanup itself
  • Fixed yii\db\ActiveRecord does not update attribute specified at optimisticLock() after save
  • Fixed yii\caching\FileCache doesn’t lock cache files when reading
  • yii\pgsql\QueryBuilder::batchInsert() may cause “undefined index” error
  • Fixed yii\helpers\Html::activeTextarea() does not allow value overriding via options
  • Fixed yii\db\Command::getRawSql() unable to parse params specified without colon (‘:’)
  • Fixed yii\db\ActiveQuery produces incorrect SQL for aggregations, when sql field is se
