Change your Ubuntu Folder color

If you desire to have a better visual layout of your Ubuntu folder directories, then Folder Color is what you need. Folder Color is an open-source application that allows users to easily color or change the color of their folder icons. This was initially used in Nautilus but now also added to the default repoitory for Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet.

Install Folder Color on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install folder-color

nautilus -q

Install Folder Color on Ubuntu 14.10 & Ubuntu 14.04

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:costales/folder-color

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install folder-color

nautilus -q
