NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 Released with new tools for HTML5

NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 has been released and this provides out-of-the-box code analyzers and editors for working with the latest Java 8 technologies – Java SE 8, Java SE Embedded 8, and Java ME Embedded 8. NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 has a range of new enhancements that further improve its support for Maven and Java EE with PrimeFaces; new tools for HTML5, in particular for AngularJS; and improvements to PHP and C/C++ support.  This release is available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.

Install NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 & Ubuntu 14.10

– There are diferent NetBeans IDE download bundles available. Download the desired bundle or download for all bundles. For the purpose of this post, I am downloading for ALL

sudo apt-get purge openjdk*

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
