Key Features

  • The voice quality features completely new codecs, automatic microphone adjustment, advanced noise reduction and echo cancelation
  • It now has full support for the latest G-keys from Logitech in addition to other currently unannounced hardware manufacturers
  • Now features fully integrated 3D sound support which allows spatial placement of sound effects and audio streams
  • The TeamSpeak 3 Server features a completely overhauled, hierachrical permissions system with the ability to dynamically create, define, and apply group permissions as you see fit
  • New authentication system system introduced. Instead of using a combination of username and password, the TeamSpeak 3 Client creates unique identities which are stored and tracked by every TeamSpeak 3 Server you’re connecting to
  • Track your friends (and foes) through TeamSpeak 3’s all new Friends/Foes list. When a friend or foe is added, the TeamSpeak 3 Client remembers your friend or foe’s unique identity regardless of whether they change their display/nickname, and regardless of what server you’re connected to
  • Maximize your online collaborative experience with TeamSpeak 3’s all new file transfer features. Depending on your permissions, users can recursively upload or download files on a per-channel basis or into a common folder tree

Update on latest version 3.0.15

  • Overhauled update system for a faster and much smaller download
  • Multiple fixes and improvements to bbCode parser from 3.0.14

How to connect locally client to server over the LAN ?

  • sysads

Im doing the set of instructions for 64 bit…

everything is fine until i get to the last line to copy and paste..

When u run it in shell .. i get this:

    donald@donald-Aspire-M3450:~/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64$ ./
    ./ line 16: ./ts3client_linux_amd64: Permission denied

ok.. an error in line 16.. um … ok.. what do i do now?

Looks like it doen’t have the permissions it needs. doesn’t the CHMOD take care of it or is there another perm i need to set?

    • Hi, why not try adding sudo before the last command and see if that helps 🙂

      • Donald Rohrbacher

        I still get this:

        donald@donald-Aspire-M3450:~/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64$ sudo ./

./ line 16: ./ts3client_linux_amd64: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

The original post here says without sudo. Tried your suggestion .. still an error in line 16 of the script file itself.

        • I know that its too late. Did you try changing the permissions by doing chmod +x

  • Donald Rohrbacher

i guess this is an inactive part of the forum..

    O still get this:

    donald@donald-Aspire-M3450:~/TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64$ sudo ./
./ line 16: ./ts3client_linux_amd64: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
