Qt is a cross-platform application framework that is widely used for developing application software with a graphical user interface (GUI), and also used for developing non-GUI programs such as command-line tools and consoles for servers.

When installing the program in any Linux-based operating system, it will provide users with several command-line and graphical utilities that can be used to configure the look and feel of Qt applications, as well as to compile Qt programs or choose the default version to use, if multiple ones are installed.
