Install Python 3.3 in Ubuntu 14.04, 13.10

Python is a dynamic, strongly typed, object oriented, multipurpose programming language, designed to be quick (to learn, to use, and to understand), and to enforce a clean and uniform syntax. Recent versions of Ubuntu comes with Python 2.7.3 or 2.7.6 pre-installed. Below is steps on how to install latest version of Python


Install Python 3.3

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fkrull/deadsnakes

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install python3.3

– Check version

python3 --version
