How to install Filezilla in Ubuntu, CentOS

FileZilla is the most popular cross platform, opensource ftp client. FileZilla works as FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with many of features and an intuitive graphical user interface. Below is simple instructions on how to install Filezilla in Ubuntu 12.04 above and CentOS 5/6

Steps for UBUNTU via PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/programs-ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install filezilla

Steps for CENTOS:

32bit OS:

# su

# http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.i686.rpm

# yum install filezilla

64bit OS:

# su

# http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

# yum install filezilla
