Step 2: Verify Adobe Flash Player Plugin
– Open Firefox, type “about:plugins” in the address bar and enter. You should see the Adobe Flash Player plugin listed
Install via Terminal
$ sudo apt-get update
You can install the Ubuntu Restricted Extras which are packages that are left of by default by Canonical because of legal reasons. Installing these extra packages will allow you to play MP3 and DVD files, enable Microsoft Core fonts, Flash Player plugin, and many more.
– Run the following command from terminal and accept on-screen pop-ups
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
comments powered by Disqus
