Kadu 3.0 RC1.5 Instant Messenger released

Kadu 3.0 RC1.5 Instant Messenger recently released, is a user-friendly, adware free, fast, stable and flexible open source Gadu-Gadu and Jabber/XMPP protocol Instant Messenger client for Linux, BSD, Mac OS X and Windows. What’s New Gadu-Gadu Kadu 3 supports server notifications about avatar updates. New avatars are immediately downloaded and displayed on buddy list. XMPP/Jabber Library for XMPP/Jabber support was changed from Iris to QXmpp. It already made connections with XMPP servers including Google Talk/Hangouts much faster.

Openfire 4.0.0 Beta – Instant Messaging Platform released

Openfire 4.0.0 Beta recently released, is a real time collaboration (RTC) server licensed under the Open Source Apache License. It uses the only widely adopted open protocol for instant messaging, XMPP (also called Jabber). Openfire is incredibly easy to setup and administer, but offers rock-solid security and performance. Kadu 2.1 now ported to new Qt Libraries

Kadu 2.1 recently released, is a user-friendly, adware free, fast, stable and flexible open source Gadu-Gadu and Jabber/XMPP protocol Instant Messenger client for Linux, BSD, Mac OS X and Windows. Kadu 2 is second version released with new versioning scheme. In this version Qt libraries have been updated from 4.x series to 5.x. New dependency injection library – Injeqt – is used in core and plugin. A lot of bugs has been fixed.
