When an infected or suspicious traffic is detected on a device interacting with Facebook, infected users will see pop-up notification, along with a recommendation to use F-Secure’s malware scanning and cleanup technology or HouseCall from Trend Micro.
When you click the download button, the software will download and install itself on your system. Then the scanner will run on your machine for cleanup.
When the scan is complete, you’ll receive a notification through Facebook and you’ll be able to review the results of the scan
