Ubuntu GNOME 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) Daily Build Images

Canonical has released the first daily desktop image for Ubuntu 14.10 code named (Utopic Unicon), so the planting season is now officially opened :). The released images allows you to try Ubuntu-GNOME without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. According to Canonical, you will need at least 384MB of RAM to install from the images provided.


Release Schedule

  • June 26th – Alpha 1 (Not Public Release – opt-in)
  • July 24th – Alpha 2 (Not Public Release – opt-in)
  • August 28th – Beta 1 (Not Public Release – opt-in)
  • September 25th – Final Beta
  • October 16th – Final Release

Download Images

Remember that this is a development version and should NOT be installed on production machines. Only use it for test purposes
